Card sleeve sizes
Match your card to a sleeve class, then check its size and thickness against the maker’s stated limits.
A standard sleeve takes cards up to 63.5 × 88.9 mm (2.5 × 3.5 in); a Japanese sleeve takes cards up to 59 × 86 mm (2.32 × 3.39 in).

These are supported card sizes, not sleeve interiors. For double-sleeving, put a perfect-fit inner sleeve inside a standard sleeve. Check the finished combination against the outer holder’s thickness limit.

Toploader thickness classes
A card-thickness point is 0.001 in (0.0254 mm). A 35 pt toploader supports a card up to 0.889 mm thick. The rating describes the holder’s capacity, not a typical card’s thickness. The BCW thickness guide explains the unit.

These classes support the same 2.5 × 3.5 in card footprint. Measure the thickest part of the finished card and choose a class whose capacity covers it.

The tobacco-size holder covers the T206 rectangle on the trading card page. Compare any oversized card with the listed limit before choosing that holder. Neither of these products publishes a thickness rating.
Board-game sleeve classes
Board-game sleeves are sold by named class rather than by game. Each row is one Ultra Pro product and the card size it is stated for; other makers use the same class names with nearby figures, so check the packet.

Does Standard American fit poker cards?
No. Standard American is stated for 56 × 87 mm (2.2 × 3.43 in) cards, smaller than a poker card on both axes and smaller than a Copag bridge card too. Poker cards belong in the trading-card standard class; Cartamundi's metric bridge cut is the one named cut that matches Standard American exactly.
